Precision Magnetic Field Sources
MEDA's three-axis Helmholtz coil systems generate stable and accurate magnetic fields from 1 nT to 200,000 nT. We manufacture two types of systems. Our closed loop system automatically cancels the local ambient magnetic field to produce a zero-field zone in the middle of the coil assembly. The user can then apply precise magnetic fields to the object or instrument under test.
The open loop system requires the operator to manually cancel the local ambient magnetic field. Other than this manual adjustment, the two systems are identical. |  |
