The FM300
Front Panel© software package provides the owner of an
MEDA Vector
Magnetometer with a convenient way to acquire, log, display and save magnetic field data.
OverviewThe FM300 Front Panel Software package accompanies every Vector Magnetometer we deliver. The FM300 Front Panel software provides the user with a convenient means for controlling the FM300 through an RS232 COM port of a PC running under the Microsoft Windows® 95/98 or Windows NT® 4.0 operating system. The package consists of two programs: the FM300 Front Panel program and the FM300 Network Server. Use the FM300 Network Server to automatically log magnetometer data to a host PC and make the data available to anyone connected to the host over the Internet. Download and Installation Instructions
The default installation directory is c:\Program Files\meda. You will find the FM300 Front Panel and FM300 Network Server programs along with their associated Help files in the FM300 Front Panel group on the Programs submenu of the Start menu. The User's Manuals provide instructions on running the programs. Download the FM300 Front Panel User's Manual by clicking here. Download the FM300 Network Server User's Manual by clicking here. Note: If you have any problems downloading the program and you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, check to see that it is the latest version. The early versions were not able to connect to ftp sites. You will need to upgrade you browser to Internet Explorer 4.01 SP2 or Internet Explorer 6.0. Save these instructions before downloading the file. Download time is approximately 17 minutes with a 28.8 kbs modem.
