Sales Policy

Orders:

Orders for all of our products should be placed directly with the factory. To place an order or request a quotation directly from the factory, call (703) 996-8990, FAX (703) 996-8770 or send by e-mail to sales@meda.com.

Discounts:

Quantity discounts are available on most products for orders of five (5) units or more.

We offer a 10% discount to all educational institutions or non-profit organizations.

Payments:

Terms for domestic orders are net 30 days from the date of the invoice with established credit. There is no prompt payment discount.

Terms for international orders are payment upon receipt. We accept wire transfers (preferred), company checks, Cashiers checks or International Money Orders in US $ only.

We accept VISA and MASTER CARD.

For COD payments (domestic orders only) we accept company checks, Cashiers checks and Money Orders.

Shipping/Handling:

All orders are FOB Dulles, VA.

We ship via UPS ground or Federal Express (economy service) unless otherwise instructed by the customer.

Warranty:

Our products are warranted by Macintyre Electronic Design Associates, Inc. (MEDA) to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. If a defect is discovered within one (1) year from date of purchase, MEDA will service the instrument as long as the original purchaser returns it to our factory. The original purchaser must prepay all transportation charges and demonstrate that the defect is covered by this warranty. Model and serial number must be supplied for service.

If the cause of the instrument failure is found to be misuse or abnormal operating conditions, repairs will be billed at cost upon authorization from the customer.

Under no circumstances will MEDA’s liability exceed the cost to repair or replace the defective parts. MEDA’s liability will cease and terminate at the completion of the one-year warranty period.

Calibration & Repair

Calibration and repair of MEDA products are performed in our Dulles, VA facilities. Our Calibration System has been reviewed and approved to MIL-STD-45662A (ISO9000 equivalent). Calibration is traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). We provide a Certificate of Calibration that includes all the required traceability data.
